Title: Mainframe Programmer

Location: Clemson, SC

100% Remote (Candidate must reside in Continental US & work EST hours) 

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension).

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and modify applications in Mainframe   environments.
• Perform coding changes using MVS COBOL and CA-ADS programs.
• Work with IDMS Network Database and IDMS Relational Database applications.
• Analyze technical and design specifications to implement system enhancements.
• Debug, unit test, and perform integration testing for application changes.
• Support QA, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and external testing cycles.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support existing Medicaid systems.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA, operations, and contracted teams.
• Participate in rotational on-call support activities.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of Mainframe development experience
• 10+ years of MVS COBOL programming experience
• 10+ years of IDMS database experience
• 10+ years of CA-ADS development experience
• 5+ years of JCL experience
• Experience with production support, debugging, testing, and system enhancements
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Changeman
• File-AID
• Footprints
• SAS
• SC Medicaid / MMIS experience

Education:

• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in computer system development and modification.
